The Host Chat interface lets you test how the chatbot will respond to typical guest questions using the property's current knowledge base. This feature is essential for ensuring your AI assistant provides accurate and helpful information to your guests.

The Host Chat allows you to:

  • Ask questions as if you were a guest
  • See exactly how the AI would respond
  • Identify knowledge gaps or inaccuracies

Confidence Indicators

If the bot doesn't know the answer with high confidence, it offers to forward the question to the host. This mimics the exact behavior guests will experience, allowing you to:

  • See when the AI would escalate a question
  • Understand which topics need more knowledge base content
  • Refine your articles and assets to improve AI confidence

Using Host Chat Effectively

To get the most out of the Host Chat preview:

  1. Test common questions you expect from guests
  2. Try variations of the same question to ensure robust responses
  3. Check responses after adding new articles or assets
  4. Test edge cases and complex scenarios
  5. Verify that sensitive information is handled appropriately

Example Scenarios to Test
